iphone 4 vs Gmail/Google

Like many of us I cant afford to keep upgrading my equipment and we are becoming more and more disenfranchised from not just tech but upgraded comms of all styles (and perhaps worst of all, the democratic system as it moves more and more "online").

So, the problem with accessing Gmail accounts remains - the Error code 403agent deisenfranshised issue.

Has anyone got any sympathy from the Apple devlopers as yet, ie to offer us poor people any solution. Or shoudl we just blame Google and drop our Gmail accounts altogether?

If so, more fool them as we all migrate away from Google products for fearof this happening in future with their stuff.

The iPhone 4 was discontinued 9 years ago… Technology is a moving target. No one expects you to buy new devices every year, but that phone was introduced in 2010. It’s time to move on.

Thanks for your view. Mine remains the same - 1) my ifone4 still works well, the problem is Apple easily could, but wont, spend developer time on the problem - because their business model (like many others) requires all of us to constantly spend and buy of more "stuff" whilst throwing-out stuff still in working order**. I appreciate my tme horizon is longer than yours and others - I'm keen on 'sustainability' not sneaky software senescence. 2) I think the recent new iPhone can cost around £1000? So, not really one for the poor (like we all will be if up/down changes in inflation, bond and stock prices don't stop).

** Just a thought -maybe Appfel are just so mad at Google for scewing around with their ifone apps and thereby their revenue streams.
