Hi,

This worked for me:
"Goto - Settings - Privacy & Security - Extensions - Finder Extensions - Enable Google Drive and turn on Google Drive
Goto - Settings - Privacy & Security - Extensions - Added Extensions - Find "Google Drive Finder Helper" and which that on."
This worked for me:

I faced the same problem. I uninstalled Google Drive, reinstalled it, and was able to get it up. The app asked me to disconnect and reconnect my account - which I did, and it started syncing my files again.
Need to double-check that on reinstalling, the settings that Blackfield95 mentions above are set correctly as well.
MacBook + Ventura 13.1 here. Same issues and tried things suggested, no luck. Then realized Google Drive moved to "Locations", making the old folder "Google Drive" useless. Checked Drive>Settings>Preferences and stream was selected (as opposed to mirroring). When I selected mirroring, it restarted the drive and downloading all my files into the new folder "My Drive". Now I have two of the same but I will wait until all files are fine before deleting the old folder.
After hours on chat and calls with "google drive specialist" the final reply was google drive does not work with Ventura, and the fix will take 3-6 month...jumping ship to one drive... pity been using google drive for more than 10 year.
I had the same problem (Macbook Intel). I solved the problem by uninstalling Google Drive and then reinstalling it.
I just recently had the same problem. In my case Google Drive was no longer being mapped to /Volumes/My Drive and /Volumes/Shared drives so the solution entailed finding out where they were now moved to. Turned out they were moved to the home Library folder: Library/CloudStorage/GoogleDrive-user@domain.com/My Drive and Library/CloudStorage/GoogleDrive-user@domain.com/Shared drives where user@domain.com is your Google Drive user info. Of course, it was worse than pulling teeth to ferret out this information so if this helps someone in the future, awesome.
In case you want to uninstall it - I found a fix - try restarting your Mac and going into Safe mode (as it restarts hold down the Shift key > "Continue to Safe Mode". You should see "Safe" appear in the upper right corner of the screen.
I had the same issue on my Pro and wanted to uninstall it. But I couldn't because the app was still "open", even though I couldn't find it on any of my screens. Hope this helps!
No luck with these steps. Contact Google Workspace support.
Google Workspace support is saying this is an issue with macos ventura. user is on macos 13.2 on an intel mac.
"The trouble shooting steps for these issues are Uninstall and reinstall, delete the DriveFS folder(cache folder)"
"You will have to check with the apple support on this issue. Google drive settings and preferences are set at the correct setting"
Google Drive for desktop is at version 69.0.0
Found the best solution, removed Google Drive from computer - making sure to log the machine out. I Erased the HD and rewrote the the operating system - Ventura 13.2. Then did a Time Machine backup. I added Google drive Back and selected mirroring for my files. It has been working great for a couple days.
Apple support has all of the tutorials necessary to provide step by step instructions.
I'm not sure why you don't see those Google Drive extensions. That is odd. Did you try reinstalling Google Drive?
I am not positive, but you may need to sign out of the Google Drive app. This may take several minutes, though. So be patient.
There are questions about this in the Google Drive help forum. I haven't seen any resolution of the issue there but you may want to check for other discussions there. Following is one example: https://support.google.com/drive/thread/187715432/mac-google-drive-desktop-app-not-sync?hl=en
I have been trying to do all possible fixes for 3 months. Opened a support ticket with Google workspace and their ultimate answer was "Engineers know about this." Then they closed the support ticket.
The only help they provided, which did not resolve my issue was:
Please try to locate any Drive for Desktop folders on your MAC with DriveFS folder name then please try to delete them and please try to follow these steps:
If I had to map it back, I would likely do "sudo ln -s <path to my drive> /Volumes/My\ Drive" or some such. I use ~/gd and ~/sd which are links to the actual location. fwiw, once upon a time you could specify the locations from the Drive app but I think that feature is no longer available.
Going back to Monterey if possible. Too many other issues with Ventura...
