Deactivate and delete Twitter account using Apple ID

Hello--I (and many others) made Twitter accounts using Apple ID and regret it. This is because I want to delete my Twitter account, but I cannot because a password is required, but when you log in with AppleID it just uses my fingerprint. Settings inside twitter cannot be changed using the fingerprint.

I went to iCloud.com and went to both "Apps that use Apple ID" and to the "hide my email" folders and deleted Twitter from both of those, yet when I search for my username on Twitter it is still there along with all of my information. Twitter has offered no help with this and every time someone from Apple responds they say to do what I've already done. Please help!!!

Hello,

This is a bit if a messy precess but hopefully in the end you can create a manual password to access your Twitter account then request it be deactivated and deleted from there. If you used the Hide My Email feature, make sure to copy and save the email Twitter received as you may need to provide it to Twitter in the password creation process.

"What happens if you stop using Sign in with Apple with an app

When you stop using your Apple ID with an app, you're signed out of the app on your device. The next time you visit the app or its associated website, you can either select Sign in with Apple to sign in again, or create a new account.

If you choose to use Sign in with Apple again, you're signed in to the same account that you previously used. Some apps might let you create a new password for your existing account so you can sign in again without using your Apple ID."

I hope this helps.
