iCloud.com Photos Grouping

Why did Apple go away from grouping the photos on iCloud.com by date? They are all just clumped together now and give a range of dates at the top of the screen. I download photos from my phone that are date specific and now I have to go through more steps to determine what the date of each photo is. Can we request that Apple give us an option to be able to sort the photos on icloud.com by date? Thanks.
