Go to messages>tap filter> filter on recently deleted.

Because of the message was of today, you can find it back in the recently deleted folder, messages deleted up to 30 days after deletion are stored there

Assuming you’re using iOS 16:

• From the Messages app screen showing all your messages, tap “Edit” in the upper left.
• Choose “Show Recently Deleted” from the drop-down.

You are using iOS 15 and once that message is deleted then it is gone permanently. The message was sent today and you deleted it today so you have no chance remaining to recover it from a backup.

If you were using iOS 16, then you would have been able to recover the deleted messages from the Recently Deleted filter in the Messages app.
