My iPad Volume Getting Weird.

So at midnight, when I play rhythm game on my iPad Pro 2021. The volume getting lower and lower until it reached 0. I have tried to turn off all the safety, sound check, even all hot corners and whatever it is. The after a few minutes later, the volume went down again slowly.

I using :

iPad Pro 11" (M1 with iPad OS 16.1.1) and with Apple Pencil connected.

USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Audio, and the earphone using JBL T110.

Is there any sensor? Like waving in front of the front camera make the volume goes down? Or something like, my iPad was overheating? Or just a bug?

I'm very thankful for your help.

Solved!.

So, as you know, iPad Pro 2021 released with USB-C port. I bought a several option for solving this problem.

First, I bought an Apple 3.5mm Jack to USB-C adapter, and after several hours by pluging it in. The volume on my iPad decreasing on it's own. And I change the hearing device (my JBL T110 In-ear earphone) to over-ear headphone immediately. Unfortunately, my iPad need some times to insttal the headphone driver. But it had a very bad bad bad sound quality.

Second, I bought a USB-C in-ear eaprhone. It's solve the problem, but the sound quality is very bad and it has low volume output.

The third one, I bought an adapter, it was Ugreen USB-C female to Lightning male (Model : 70953). It has a great sound quality, and also solve the problem. Now, I am using original Apple wired earpods with this adapter. A little big and heavy for mobility, but it works perfectly fine without decreasing sound volume again.

So, in my opinion, maybe it is the connection problems, to any device that connect to your iPhone, which is wired or wireless. You can try to disconnect them (or uninstall them if necessary) and then try to connect it again.

Also you need to turn off this function (if you use iPhone with FaceID), see photo below.

Hi Sako177,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To help isolate the issue, can you tell us if this only occurs when using the specific app? If so, we would recommend the following steps that may help:

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected
2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.
4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.

Nope, it happen to all apps, and also when the iPad on the idle or standby mode (I just open the lock screen and standby at home screen) without touching any volume buttons nor volume up down in assistive touch).

The special is it only happened when at night or midnight. When I plug the USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Adapter. Very rare to happen at morning, afternoon, nor evening.

Also, I always restart my iPad once a day.

Open my case and clean it up once a week.
