Paper between screen and keyboard - 14” MacBook Pro

My co-worker put two sheets of printer paper on the keyboard of my 14” MacBook Pro and closed the lid. He was also so careless that the sheets of paper weren’t straight and folded when the lid was closed. Given the tight tolerance, can this have caused damage to the screen? It seems to be fine at the moment but I’m getting paranoid it might show signs of damage in the long run.

I don't see this as an issue...

Brand new Mac ship with sheet of something...of paper thickness covering the keyboard, no(?)

I don't think I would want a ball point pen or a set of keys however.
