I have apple v. 16.1 which is required to recover deleted text msgs. I still do not see the option “Recently deleted messages” under Edit that gives me the ability to recover a deleted text. Can anyone help? Thank you.

If you deleted your messages while using iOS 16 on your iPhone, then you can check by tapping on the EDIT button in the Messages app and then Recently Deleted Messages. If there are no deleted messages then Recently Deleted option will not appear.
