Apple Watch speaker sounding distorted?
I bought the series 7 back in September and since then, I’m on my third watch face. I work as a automotive mechanic and I pretty much wear it everyday for work and home. After every shift, I clean my watch of all the dirt and debris. Never bumped it, never dropped it but for some reason the distortion from the speaker gets really really bad to the point I cannot ignore it anymore and have to send it into Apple to get it looked at. I’m not certain however I have a feeling it has something to do with the type of debris I deal with on a regular basis at work. It may have something to do with the metal fragments from brakes. I know the watch is dust proof but I think it doesn’t cover metallics. Seems to be the only factor I keep running into. Although there is no visible signs of dirt of debris around the speaker, I think it may be a possibility. Anyone else running into this issue?
