Share play is on my Apple TV and I want to turn it off. It doesn’t show in Control panel on Apple TV to turn it off. The share icon does show in Hulu scree App on Apple TV. How do I find it to turn it off?
SharePlay is always started by a FaceTime call on iPhone or iPad or Mac. If none of the Apple TV users are doing a FaceTime call at that time, then you shouldn’t be prompted to share.
SharePlay can be deactivated on iPhone and iPad if you never (or almost never) want it. Settings﹥FaceTime﹥SharePlay﹥SharePlay﹥Off.
SharePlay initiated by someone else (i.e. an invite to you) can be ignored by turning a setting off on Apple TV. Settings﹥Users and Accounts﹥[username]﹥Shared with you﹥Off.

Unfortunately this didn’t solve my problem. I never initiated SharePlay in a FaceTime call and it is turned off in iMessage in Settings. I already have sharing off in Apple TV settings. The little SharePlay symbol shows up on various Apps on my Apple TV such as Hulu live, Apple, and Tubi. On my remote in Control no SharePlay shows up so I can’t turn it off there either. I’ve tried through Apple Care and the person I talked to didn’t seem to know the answer. Thanks for your help
