refund on duolingo?

good morning: I added to my phone the dueling app > three weeks ago. Two weeks free then subscribed. Didn't know Apple took money out of my apple account until I received a notice through my debit card for $7.38 wondered why on 7:38 as monthly script was 12.99. Told my apple manager can decide on monthly change. Was very surprised when got apple receipt which told me total was > 13.00. In the meantime had canceled subscription as not aware of duolingo policy (where would I have found this?). So now I have money back in account and must open a new app to continue my learning of Spanish. You may want to try and clarify your terms rather than cause those of us who are older and learn OTJ by doing what is really going. I repeat same note I sent DO NOT TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY APPLE ACCOUNT.

While all sales and purchases in the iTunes & App Store would be final, Apple understands that accidents can happen, and offers the option for you to request a refund for apps or media purchased from Apple directly. Here's how: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support.

How to request a refund
1. Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund." 
3. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.
4. Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit. If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription

If you already requested a refund
Check the status of your refund request


If you follow these steps to request a refund or need help with checking the status of a refund, you'll want to reach out to Apple directly by calling the support number nearest to your current location: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support so they can further assist you with this billing issue.
