Iphone backup takes hours!

I back up my iPhone via USB. (NEVER iCloud) My iPhone used to backup in minutes. Lately it is taking hours to complete. There is no reason it should suddenly take hours to complete. This is new, and seems to be related to the latest IOS software.

IOS 16.1.1 on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Backing up to a MacBook Pro 13", M1 Chip, 2020 MacOS Ventura 13.0.1.

I have tried multiple USB C to Lighting cables and nothing changes. My iPad 6th Gen running IOS 16.1.1 backs up to the Mac in minutes! It is only the iPhone that takes hours.

These devices have been working for YEARS and Yes I KNOW how to use the software.

It may be your computer or the USB cable that is the problem, not iOS. You haven't even mentioned the iOS that you have on your device.

Many users who have updated to iOS 16 and above must have a similar issue if the issues stated by you is due to the iOS.

Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.
