iOS 16.1.1 time font too big

Is there a way to change the CLOCK font on the welcome screen - it is now BOLD & large just after updating the IOS to 16.1.1?

the rest is OK so I don’t want to lower the other front like email or others - just the clock showing the time when you open the phone

Followed @veronicade1's instructions:

Tap & Hold the Lock screen >> "Customize Wallpaper" >> go to "ADD NEW" hit '+' >> select 'Photos' @ top left >> Tap on image from those available to load image >> Tap on time >> select Font and Colour from "Font & Colour" menu >> Hit Save (at top right of screen)

Under new saved Lock screen image and Clock Font, Hit "Customise" to reveal the Lock and Home screen pair.

Tap Home Screen >> Select background from Menu: 'Pair, Colour, Gradient, Photos' to Customise Home Screen >> Hit Save (at top right of screen)

Tap on Lock screen and it expands to Full scree size and you're done.

Please note, my screen cannot display the text at top right, so where I wrote "Save", it might be some other text; i.e. 'Exit'

Yes, unwanted by those of clear and contrast vision, but what of those sight impaired ? Not thinking of them, are you ?

Obviously the new inclusivity aspects we have embraced have been applied for the sight impaired BUT for the rest of us the font size in APPS can be changed so this home screen time display (for the sake of inclusivity) should be able to be changed BACK to what it was in v15 !!

btw, that is not WOKE, it is providing access to ALL human beings !

So much for Steve Jobs inspirational guiding light -"Simplicity is elegance". I updated my software and now have the horrible large time appearance on my iPhone and no way to change it ??? Simplicity would be after the update to have a pop-up button ask the question whether I would like to change it back to the previous size? Yes or no. How much more simple and elegant would that be?

I knew apple was going on the wrong track when they took away the simple pull down menu to print the screen. I have to remember now which 3 keys to press all over the keyboard at the same time to take a picture and then find that on the screen and then print it. In contrast

formerly complicated Microsoft allows a screen print with one mouse click. Ah simplicity is elegance.
