Flexgate Help 2017 15” MacBook Pro
My screen is purple. I read this is common and called flexgate. Has a resolution or fix been found? Thanks!

It could be a hardware problem as you suspect, but make sure that you did not inadvertently alter some settings in Accessibility Preferences: Change Accessibility settings on Mac - Apple Support. For example, Display settings for accessibility can enable all sorts of groovy colors.
