RE: Apple Watch A2352; V. 8.7. Display won't turn on when w

`2 questions:

  1. Display won't turn on when I turn my wrist. I must always turn on manually~!
  2. At random times the face is very dim (seems to be on half power). Very hard to see! Next time may be OK.

Hello roroco1,

Regarding your Apple Watch not illuminating when your wrist is turned, do you know if your settings are enabled properly? Per Turn on and wake Apple Watch - Apple Support

By default, you can wake the Apple Watch display in these ways:
* Raise your wrist. Your Apple Watch sleeps again when you lower your wrist.
* Tap the display or press the Digital Crown.
* Turn the Digital Crown upward.
If you don’t want your Apple Watch to wake when you raise your wrist or turn the Digital Crown, open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch, go to Display & Brightness, then turn off Wake on Wrist Raise and Wake On Crown Rotation. [In your case specifically, ensure that Wake on Wrist Raise is enabled]
Tip: To temporarily prevent your Apple Watch from waking when you raise your wrist, use theater mode.

If your Apple Watch doesn’t wake when you raise your wrist, make sure you selected the proper wrist and watch orientation. If your Apple Watch doesn’t wake when you tap the display or press or turn the Digital Crown, it may need charging.

Regarding the display, is auto-brightness enabled or disabled? Per Adjust brightness, text size, sounds, and haptics on Apple Watch - Apple Support, "Open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch, then tap Display & Brightness."

Thanks!
