If I deleted an iPhone message, does the person still see it?
Hey, if I delete a message and start a new conversation, does the person still see the message, I’m kinda worried about it and I go to school with the guy

Hi Pleaserespondapple,
If you only delete an iMessage on your device, that action impacts what you see on your associated devices but does not affect the device of the person you sent the message to per Delete messages on iPhone:
"Note: Deleting messages changes only your own Messages conversations, not those of your recipients."
On iOS 16 you can unsend or edit an iMessage. Unsend and edit messages on iPhone offers the following:
"Note: To unsend or edit text messages, you must be using iMessage with iOS 16 or later, iPadOS 16 or later, or macOS Ventura. If your recipients have devices with earlier versions of iOS, they receive follow-up messages with the preface “Edited to” and your new message in quotation marks. SMS messages can’t be unsent or edited."
Only messages unsent within 2 minutes of sending to another Apple device using iOS 16/iPadOS 16/macOS Ventura or higher would be removed from view of the recipient.
Regards.
If you have sent a message, and you delete it later, the person who received the message will still have the message, unless they have deleted it.
