How to open OneDrive in order to remove it

I am trying to remove OneDrive from my MacBookAir but it says:

"Cannot move to trash cause OneDrive is open"

How do I close it ??

And just moving to the Trash may not be enough.

Open Activity Monitor & force Quit OneDrive, or Safe Bootto remove it.
