Fixing green, blue, or pink tint on TV's screen via HDMI
Hello,
I just want to share a little tip that can help fixing the weird tint on TV's screen when connect a MacBook to TV via HDMI cable. My problem was that my TV has a pink tint on the screen. I tried restarting the Mac. Changed the profile color. Changed the resolution. Waited for the new update. None of that worked.
And today, I just discovered the solution.
Here's how:
While connected to the TV via HDMI cable...
Go to System Settings > Displays > Choose your TV's screen (in my case, it's Samsung) > Color Profile > scroll to the end of the profile and choose "projector..."
You will see the 2 wheels in the picture. On the right wheel, click on the white circle and drag it to the center! That's it. It will remove any tint you have and you'll get your nice screen back.
I thought the white circle was supposed to be only next to the colors. I didn't know it can be moved to the center. Now that it's on the center, my screen is back to normal!
I hope this will be useful for many people.
Have a good one!
