HomeKit geofencing worked perfectly under ios15 - since updating I have to be literally beside the Apple TV before any automations acknowledge I am home. My family has iPhone and all iPhones update to 16.x experience this issue. My sons iPhone (still on 15.x) still works perfectly from 150m from the house. 16.1 has still not fixed this - fix this Apple - HomeKit is useless for location since updating! Yours in frustration!

To help us isolate the issue, does this happen with all automations or only certain ones? If you create a new one while using iOS 16, does the same thing happen?

have updated iPhones to latest IOS 16.1.1 and absolutely no difference. Have delete old automation and recreated it in Home - absolutely no difference. Device on iOS 15 still works perfectly with geofencing- my daughter and my phone on 16.1.1 do not work with geofencing. Home location used to show a map with a radius for geofencing - that is no longer available on ios16.x .x as well - can you please fix this? This is an issue with iOS 16.x.x!
Other than the standard reply of making sure the software is up to date, was there any further support response?
I have been unable to adjust the radius of the geofence. As my wife and I have the trigger as “Home,” the distance seems to be locked at 100 meters.
Nope - apart from telling me the obvious there has been no update for this. I know Apple is aware of this issue they just won’t reply about it. I am not going to delete my home and recreate it as some suggest - as that is hot and miss as well. I have too many devices to contemplate that. I come home now and get to my kitchen from the garage and the light then turn on - this is useless Apple! Can you fix this - as I mentioned still works perfectly in ios15.x - sigh!
Done all that already - now updated to 16.2 but still not working! - made absolutely no difference - still works perfectly in ios15.x - can you fix this issue please apple - it is affecting lots of people - your silence is deafening - can this not be fixed or something? Sigh!
