Apple Watch calls Ali in activities

Why is my Apple Watch calling me Ali? My name is Troy and it is paired properly with my correct name. However, every time I reach a goal it says things like “you’ve hit your move and exercise goals Ali” I want it to stop and don’t tell me it’s in “General” and to check my name.

Hi Troyh2k,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your name is being said incorrectly from your Apple Watch. Make sure that your name is shown correctly on your contact card from your iPhone. Here is more on how to do this:

"Add your contact info on iPhone
In the Contacts app , add your information to your contact card. iPhone uses your Apple ID to create your contact card, called My Card, but you may need to provide your contact information (such as name and address) to complete it.
Complete My Card
Tap My Card at the top of your contacts list, then tap Edit. Contacts suggests addresses and phone numbers to help you set up My Card.
If there is no My Card, tap the Add button, then enter your information. Next, go to Settings  > Contacts > My Info, then tap your name in the contacts list.

Edit My Card
Tap My Card at the top of your contacts list, then tap Edit.
You can also teach Siri how to pronounce your name. See Tell Siri how to say your name."

And those steps are from Add your contact info on iPhone - Apple Support

Regards.

I’ve had an I phone since the 3S came out. I’ve also had an Apple Watch before. Do you honestly think my name is wrong in my own contacts? My old watch broke at work so I bought a new one that keeps calling me Ali. All my info is in my phone correctly, it’s YOUR product that sucks. I knew you would go to user mistake first, it couldn’t possibly be your crappy product.
