If I swap SIM cards, will the phone I newly installed the SIM into be identical to the old one? Both are iphone 8.

I have two iphone 8's. If I swap SIM cards will the new one be like a clone of the old one? (I realize the contacts will not be in the SIM). Thanks.

No. iPhones do not store any data at all on the SIM. All the SIM does is connect the device to the cellular network.
