why I can't click or remove get help during an emergency?

For the record, since I got my iPhone 14 max pro, I turned off all of the SOS settings, so why, in the past two days, has this SOS notification just shown up, and I can't either click on it or remove it, and it is very annoying to see it !! So what to do now!!

I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this issue! Thank you!!

That is the notification for the activation of the new Satellite phone connection for help in an Emergency. See this press release from Apple. Emergency SOS via satellite available today on iPhone 14 lineup - Apple

Then here is support information about the feature. Use Emergency SOS via satellite on your iPhone 14 - Apple Support

You can start clicking there, then go through the explanation pages and check out the demo. I believe the notification badge will disappear after that.

Yes, four of us got 14’s at the same time. Mine’s the only one with this problem that seems to maybe not have completed the iOS update 🤷‍♀️ I’ll just take this phone to the Apple Store and let them figure it out. I was hoping a reset wouldn’t need to be done but what the Genius Bar recommends is what I’ll do. Thank You for trying to help
