I have downloaded the AppleTV App on my Samsung TV but I have subtitles on by default every time I play a new video, it’s really annoying to turn subtitles off every time.
I checked my TV accesibility settings and subtitles are off. In the App I go to the Accesibility settings and the closed captions and SDH option is active and there’s no way to change it.

To change the default subtitles language in Settings, go to Settings > Video and Audio > Audio > Subtitle Language, then choose the language that you want. If you're using a smart TV or streaming device, go to Settings > General, then turn off Automatic Subtitles.
