Connecting Dual Screens (Macbook Pro M2-2022)

I have a Macbook Pro (2022) and I am looking to connect to 2 x display monitor. The screen on the left should be the main display and on screen on the right should be an extended display.

I purchased 2x Dell 24 USB-C HUB Monitors, however when I plug them in by USB-C, the first screen works fine but I can't get the second screen to work.

I contacted Apple and they suggested the Macbook 2022 can't connect to two screens, but I'm finding this hard to believe as I'm running the same set up on my Macbook Pro late 2013 model.

I'm not looking to run 2 simultaneous screens per say, rather a main screen with extended display desktop.

Perhaps what I need is a USB-C hub with displaylink? I did try downloading display link but it didn't work, presumably needs a hub.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

James
