Cloud save

Hi,

So, I downloaded a game (FM23) on apple arcade using my apple ID. But the device I was using is my partner's laptop with her apple ID. So, I played the game on her laptop and cloud save my game.

I tried to load the game on my phone with my apple ID etc, but it is not showing any saved game. The apple arcade shows my achievements on both devices but does not sync any of the saved game.

What can I do? Do I need to turn on my Icloud backup on my iphone? Or do I need to sign into Icloud account on the laptop?

Hello afifyusof,

It sounds like that app data is saved to the device Apple ID, as opposed to the Apple Arcade Apple ID , but it might be both. Only the developer can say for sure how they set up the data syncing and backups. Since the game was downloaded and played don your girlfriend's Apple ID account, you may need to download it and start over using your account and device to make sure that the content is able to be saved properly.
