Apple Music doubles all the songs added to Library...

So I convinced someone to use Apple Music on their Windows/Android pair. Now I look stupid, because they constantly come to me with problems...

Today I need to help resolve doubling the songs. So the person is using Apple Music through browser. When he adds song to Library, majority of the songs get doubled and they always play twice when played not shuffled. He tried to delete one song (first on the list) and it worked, so is the correct behavior: add song->go to Library->delete the duplicate?

The same is on Apple Music on Android.

Please help to resolve that...

Often this is the right place to ask. Sometimes you have an issue so rare and novel that even the regulars here haven't come across it before and have no insight to offer. I can't reproduce it. I can't test it. And I can't think of a plausible mechanism for it.

Can your friend install iTunes for Windows and sign into their iCloud Music Library to see if that too shows duplicates, or perhaps if processing the library in iTunes causes them to be eliminated?
