The search function in the calendar app no longer works. No matter what I search I get “no events”. Does anyone know how to get this back? The events are still in the calendar, they just aren’t found using the search option.

I was just on the phone with Apple support about this same issue and here is the fix that they gave me that worked: Settings>Mail>Account (select the correct account)>Calendar
then toggle OFF calendar. It asks if you want to delete the account and you accept. After about a minute, toggle it back on, and the calendar entries will start repopulating, and the search function will start working. Depending on how many calendar entries you have, it will take a while to update, but I have thousands and it updated in less than one hour. Search function works again.
My calendar is only search iCloud entries where it used to search all my email calendars. Anyone know how to get this back? I run 3 businesses and use 3 different calendars.

Oh no. I did this and now it’s only showing old entires from like 2012-2018 haha. It was showing SOME current stuff before but not everything. Maybe it’s indexing or something?
