Watch Won’t Turn On

I powered down my series 3 watch and now it will not turn back on. Just the Apple is on the face, occasionally turning off then back on. If I try to force a restart, I get the same result. The watch is running watchOS 8.5.1. I also try to drain the battery and then force a restart; same outcome. Apple display on the face, occasionally turning off and then back on. My phone doesn’t show that my watch is currently connected via Bluetooth.
