iCloud extremely slow syncing on Windows

I use iCloud between my Windows, Macbook & iPad but have started to encounter syncing issues from Windows over the last 3 months.

I'd upload 100 files (several of them being less than 20 KB) and after 2 weeks, only 7-8 files would be uploaded onto iCloud with the others still "syncing". I have no issues when using any Apple device or uploading via the web on my windows.

Prior to August, iCloud on Windows worked great, all files would be uploaded within a couple of minutes. The download is still okay on Windows iCloud though. My devices are always up to date as well.

I still have a large amount of space on my iCloud so the issue can't be due to a lack of space.

Are there perhaps any fixes I can deploy to speed of iCloud syncing on my Windows without having to rely on the web version?

Hey there NK98N,

Since syncing works fine on other devices, and on the same device and network, from a web browser, it sounds like the best step is to work with iCloud For Windows, and potentially Windows Software, to resolve the issue.

To troubleshoot iCloud for Windows, first make sure Windows software is up to date, and that you have the latest version of iCloud: Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

If the issue continues, check to see if other software could be interfering with iCloud performance: Resolve issues between iCloud for Windows or iTunes and third-party security software - Apple Support

Let us know if the issue continues.

Take care.
