USB-C to USB Adapter not working with Klipsch R-51PM powered speakers

Anyone have success connecting their USB-C equipped iPad (iPad Mini 6) to a set of powered speakers with a USB DAC? The input connector on the back of the speaker is USB-B (the squarish, mostly found on printers type). I tried using the supplied USB-B to USB-A cable provided by Klipsch and using the Apple adapter to connect it to my iPad Mini 6. This does not work as the iPad does not even recognize that an accessory has been plugged in. Ironically, everything works perfectly when using the Apple adapter to connect to my Google Pixel 6. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! Since the connected accessory isn't being recognized, follow these steps:

"1. Update to the latest version of iOS

Some accessories might require the latest version of iOS. Make sure that you update to the latest version of iOS.

2. Make sure the accessory is compatible

If this is the first time that you tried to use the accessory, make sure that it works with your device. Some accessories only work with certain models of iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you aren’t sure, contact the manufacturer.

3. Check the connections

Disconnect and reconnect the accessory to see if the alert goes away. If it continues to appear, check the connectors on the accessory and your device for damage or debris. If necessary, gently remove the debris and clean the connectors on your device."
