why can I not do the update where you can get the different fonts on lock screen,the most I can do is IOS 15.7.1 and there is no option of a better update when you scroll down.

Depending on what model phone you have will determine what version of iOS you can use. You need an iPhone 8 or higher to update to 16.1.1.
• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, you can update to 15.7.1
• If you have an iPhone 8 or higher, you can update to 16.1.1
Your battery is almost dead, you need to have at least a 50% charge to perform the update. Charge you phone to at least 50% and leave the power supply plugged in while updating.
