Maybe ~10 years ago I wrote the word “y’all’s” in a text. Ever since then, I can’t type the word “y’all” on any phone I’ve had that uses iOS without autocorrect changing it to “y’all’s.” I’m from the American south and use “y’all” a ton. But it constantly gets changed to “y’all’s.” How can I prevent this autocorrection?

You can reset your keyboard dictionary by following the steps found here, which will remove any previously saved replacements:

"Reset your personal dictionary
> General > Reset.Take care.

That is correct. If you have a word that is getting auto corrected to something else and want to remove it, you'll need to reset the keyboard dictionary with the steps Dustin_R_308 provided.

Thanks Dustin_R_308! So, even if I don't have a custom shortcut on my keyboard that produces the word I don't want, if I reset the keyboard it should stop autocorrecting to that word?
