Does Apple give a 2 year warranty for iPhones?

I am looking to purchase an iPhone 13 but unsure if it’s best to buy from Apple direct or John Lewis as the latter gives a 2 year warranty. I can’t find for definite whether Apple also give a 2 year warranty. Does anyone know?

Apple publishes their hardware warranty terms on the Apple Support web page -> Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

Just change the country as necessary using the country option at the very bottom right hand side of that page.

Apple itself seems to publish uniformly that their products come with a default one year warranty. As mentioned, local consumer law may offer additional warranty terms and you’d have to check those out for your country. Not every country has laws that automatically extended the manufacturers default warranty.

Apple also sells extended warranties under AppleCare, but these are not necessarily available in every country Apple sells products -> AppleCare Products - Apple

Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty – (UK and Ireland)

UK vendors seem to offer both carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked models.

Apple offers AppleCare in many areas (including in the UK, AFAICT), and which can extend the warranty substantially.

Might want to compare the details of the coverage among the standard, AppleCare, and store warranties, too.
