iOS 16 lock screen time font size

I also have the same issue - and have so far not found a way to make the time font smaller

on the lock screen.

In earlier versions < iOS 15.x it used to be fine, but now Apple has changed the settings to this

tasteless lock screen size and FIXED it !

@APPLE: please do not force all users to use that ugly time display !

Let us choose the font and size ourselves !

Sorry, but there appears to be no way to change the size of the time. You might try adding widgets as that might eliminate the need for the time display. otherwise make your complaint known ...

Agree. I updated this morning and this garish clock font is in my face. Steve Jobs would be turning over in his grave. I did not ask for this.

absolutely agree with everything said…ios 16 is a vomit nightmare…the fixed size and placement of the garish time display on lockscreen is disgusting and both of my wallpapers became a mess…without the slightest heads-up that the upgrade would introduce yet more intrusiveness in my life…perhaps if the designers had some control over their own lives they could keep their noses out of the customer’s individual preferences

I totally agree. Though I wonder also if the designers are in fact ill? Or maybe just need their vision checked. It would be interesting to find out who was responsible and see if they were presbyopic.

I just want to be clear to Apple… I’m hating the new clock font size! Might be enough to make me leave iPhone after a long bout of loyalty.

Sorry about that! I'm trying to figure it out also. I'd like to make my time smaller too. If I find the answer, I will be sure to let you know.

im definitely switching it auto updated last night and its so gross. bulbous and terrible. and no customization, apples trademark
