Seems trivial but I really don’t like it. Can’t seem to move this search bar from bottom to top.
Is it possible?
If yes, how please? If not why not?

Although I personally disagree with your sentiment, noting the rest of your Home Screen is not visible anyway so I can’t imagine why this matters, nevertheless you may certainly send your feedback to Apple should you choose to do so.

I don’t know what “search from the top” means. I thought maybe you were trying to move the keyboard toward the top.
Here is an iPhone search example. (I cropped the very top and bottom so this image would fit in this response.) Perhaps more prominent items appear toward the top.
Contrast that to an iPad search example. There doesn’t seem to be any functional difference.

Why not at the top?? Thinking it’s not possible but hoping for a software update. 🤞
It matters to me as I intuitively search from the top and can’t see why the option would be be removed. I’m sure it would be an easy software adjustment.
