Prevent kids screentime sending many iMessage to me

Hello all,

I am using Apple Screen Time to protect my kids. Apple iOS 16 has a new feature, with which screen time notifications (requests) now end up in your notifications centre and in your messages (imessage). So I tend to get huge amounts of iMessages, and I want it to stop.

I can't find how to turn it off, either on my iphone or my kids iphone. Can you help me?

Thanks!

Adriano

Hi Adriano020,

The notifications for Screen Time isn't adjustable for Messages with iOS 16 and macOS Ventura. You're welcome to leave feedback directly to Apple with your thoughts and suggestions using the link below:

Kind regards.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Adriano,

We understand you're receiving a lot of notifications from Screen Time. We'd be happy to provide information about this.

Screen Time does not send iMessage. It will, however, send Ask To Buy requests:

If you're still seeing messages in the Messages app claiming to be from Screen Time, please let us know what exactly they say and we'll be able to help you further.

Regards.
