muted texts
My friend's texts are coming through muted - how to fix?

Open the Messages app. Look at the name of the contact in the Message list. Is there a Bell icon with a line across it next to the name of the contact to the Right of it? If YES, then the contact has been muted in the Messages app.
To Unmute the contact, SWIPE the Contact Name to the LEFT to display the Bell icon and tap on the Bell icon. This should unmute that contact in Messages.
