External Keyboard needs full access settings after iOS 15

We have an Intune managed application for iOS and Android.

After the update of iOS version 15.x the application stops working when an external keyboard is connected to keyboard. This problem was not reported in the previous iOS versions.

Introduction about our application;

The user opens a zip file from outlook. This zip file is opened using our application. The list of files inside the zip file is listed in our application. The user selects the file and the options of the application in which the file can be opened will be displayed. For example, when an pdf file is selected, the applications like adobe and so on will be displayed in open In. Since it is a managed application and the corporate data is opened, it opens with the applications according to the intune policies.

Problem

When external keyboard is connected and a file inside the zip file selected to open a list of applications are displayed. when selecting the application in which the file is to be opened the keyboard stops working or the application is not selected.

Hence it is not possible to view the data of the file.

Workaround

It works after giving full access for the external keyboard.

This step was not needed before iOS version 14. But this has changed somewhere in the iOS 15 versions.

The application works perfectly when the external keyboard is not connected. We also confirm that it is independent of the iPad model or Keyboard model.

Since there a lot of users affected, we appreciate your immediate attention.

We would like to know what has changed which has made mandates the setting of full access to be enabled which was not like that before.
