Anyone using Canvas X Draw upgraded to Ventura? Does it still work?
It can be. But in Ventura, Canvas works not really satisfying. It keeps crashing, and has quirks that are simply not workable. That means, before Ventura they stopped the up date. 😤
I contacted Canvas support and was told that in house testing shows that Canvas X Draw is still working with Ventura and they have not noticed any problems.
I am still nervous to update to Ventura because it is still not listed as compatible on the product page and I can not find anyone that is currently using Canvas with Ventura to confirm that it is compatible.
Judging from their Web Site information, which sometimes is not always kept up to date, it appears development of there software beyond macOS 10.11 Big Sur has stopped
That's not true. They support at least up to Monterey.
I have downloaded the trial and export a Canvas document to jpeg has a terrible result.
The application is also much more expensive than some years ago. I am disappointed.
Have you installed and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac? If so, uninstall all of them according to the developer's instructions before trying Canvas.
You might also consider an alternative: Affinity Designer. You can try the demo version of it.
"Working"?? I can't even get Canvas X Draw to OPEN! I'm pretty aggravated after spending what for me is big bucks on Canvas, not that long ago. Wondering what would happen if I tried to uninstall/reinstall?? Crying and cursing do not seem to help.

I wouldn't trust it after my experience with exporting a Canvas doc to jpeg.
I didn't have such applications installed.
