New apple tv with older apple remote

I have just purchased the Apple TV 4K Wi‑Fi + Ethernet with 128GB storage

i would like a second remote as identical as possible to the remote that came with the device, ideally same layout and functionality.

1) my understanding is that it came with a “3rd gen” siri remote. Is this the same thing as a 3rd gen “apple tv” remote? That is are they two names for the exact same thing or is there some model difference?

2) if they are different, can I pair one of each with the same apple tv and have them work at the same time?

3) if they are the same, can i purchase a 2nd gen version of the apple tv/siri remote and pair them/use them at the same time?

4) if neither of the above will work, is there a very close (simple, same or similar buttons) remote folks have found that works well and isn’t eg a programmable and expensive mess?

I do not use or care about siri. Ideally I would have two physical remotes that are bluetooth, but one being IR is acceptable if two BT remotes are impossible. I just want two physical remotes that will control the device so each couch has one.

thanks very much. Apologies since I’m sure this has already been asked and answered a million times.

Siri Remote (3rd generation) is the same as Apple TV Remote (3rd generation).

Additional separate replacement remotes can be purchased if needed.

One bluetooth Siri Remote (Apple TV Remote) can be paired at a time. Pairing a new remote will unpair the previous remote.

Addition IR remotes/universal remotes, network remotes/software remotes can be used at the same time/interchangeably.

Select unofficial IR remotes can be purchased for specific use with Apple TV.
