Confirm Before Dialing

This Topic has been discussed and the consensus seems to be that the "Confirm Dial" feature is not required because it's the user's responsibility to dial the proper contact at the proper time. Fine, but here is my scenario (am I really the only one?!):

1. I call someone from "Favorites" and the screen goes into "Call" mode
2. I finish the conversation and try to hang up
3. As my finger is about to hit the "End Call" button, the person I was talking to hangs up before me and the screen reverts back to "Favorites"
4. I inadvertently dial the contact that happens to be at the same position on the screen as the "End Call" button

Perhaps the "Confirm Dial" button is not the proper solution here, but I do it every time, to the same poor soul who happens to be under the "End Call" button.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
