When I start my iMac, the screen stays dark, but I can hear a noise from the unit. It sounds like a coffee maker. However it never boots up and the screen remains dark. Thoughts?

Any trouble shooting ideas or just take it to the Apple store?

IMac screen is black and won’t open I have restarted my iMac and the screen went all black and won’t open again I can still hear the keyboard clicking and when I tried to hold the power key it still won’t open but I can sometimes hear it start.

iMac blank screen My iMac will screen will randomly go blank. Not pitch black like when it is turned off, but the weird blue/black where you can tell the screen is on, just not showing anything. All of the other answers/possible solutions I have found are for MacBooks not an iMac. It is updated to the most recent macOS ventura, and isn't even 2 years old yet so I really don't understand why it is doing this all of a sudden. It will do it while I am actively using it as well as sometime during the night when I am not using it as I have to press & hold the power button to turn it back on. Sometimes have to press and hold the power button more than once to get any sort of response.
