I have the iPad 6th generation running iPadOS version 16.1.1(20B101). My question is when I use the new remove backround in my photos I get the check mark, that I think is a confirmation that it did the function, however I have no idea where to find the updated photo. According to what I read it should be in my photo's, however it is no where to be found. What am I missing?

Presumably you refer to the new iPadOS16 feature for automatically clipping a subject or object from an image.
Along with some other new elements of iPadOS functionality, this feature is not available for all models of iPad that support iPadOS16 - as specific system hardware (CPU/SoC and RAM) capabilities are required.

Then this feature as well as other new “whizbang”, “new and cool” features of iPadOS 16 are NOT available to your year and model iPad.

Older iPad models will only get the very basic of new features found in iPadOS 16.
The internal CPU is simply not powerful enough and is missing many important CPU hardware features.
This means
NO Stage Manager
NO intelligent background image removal
NO Live text feature
And anything else that needs a much higher Apple “A” or “M” CPU that have Apple's “neural”, learning CPU hardware,,as well as more CPU and GPU processing cores.

Is this a 2018 6th gen iPad or the new 2022 6th gen iPad Pro model you are using?
