problem of software update time to look for update

hello,

I would like to update the software on my iMac which is now Catalina 10.5 to higer cause the Microsoft cannot instal the pack office on the Catalina because its not supported it.

so I lunched the software update on my iMac but this one is thinking almost from 30mn to find a new update.

is someone can help me to fixe this issue.

so I brought my iMac in US and now I am in France working is there any thing do I have to change in my utilities ?

I have Catalina macOS 10.15.7 and I would like to find update which will be compatible to install Microsoft office.

But the windows of software uptade os stuck and cannot find any update.

where I can verify the 64 bit ?

First off, Catalina is Mac OS 10.15.

Before upgrading to Catalina, you will need to make sure all your software is 64 bit.
