Installing iWorks on a Mac PowerBook 2011 13 inch MOS 10.13.6

I have given this old PowerBook to a friend who now has his own Apple ID and PW for the above computer. (A previous Apple Service Provider wiped the drive clean, even though I had asked him to retain the version of iWorks that had resided on the computer). Now we are having trouble downloading a version of iWorks that works with MOS 10.13.6.

Please give us detailed instructions as the friend is entirely new to Mac and lives in India where few are knowledgeable about the Mac.

Not possible. Apps are tied to the Apple ID. The only way to get a compatible version is if the friend had ever downloaded a copy of Pages in the past.

Your friend should probably forget about iWork and use something like LibreOffice instead.
