install iWork's

Please help!! I need to reinstall the iWorks software on an old MacBook Pro late 2011 13". the Macbook is still in perfect condition. this is urgent Thank You

If you never installed Pages from the Mac App Store after Oct 2013, then you cannot get it now, as Apple does not maintain full versions of past Pages installers for user download. You may need to use Pages for iCloud by signing in with your Apple ID.


If the first paragraph does not apply because you did previously install Pages, then on macOS High Sierra, launch the Mac App Store and sign in with the same Apple ID that you used to previously install Pages. Press the option-key while clicking Purchases on the toolbar and a Purchases page will open. If Pages is present with an install or update button, click that.


Do not click Cancel to any dialog that follows. There may be one or two dialogs, but one will ask if you want to install the last compatible version of Pages for macOS High Sierra. That will do what it says and install Pages v8.1.
