Approve this iPhone pop-ups wont stop on my Macbook!

About 6 months ago I forgot the password to unlock my iPhone so I had to go through the horrible process of resetting it (I'm confident there has to be a better way that Apple could help fix it up btw) since I changed it I have been getting non-stop notifications on both my MacBook and my desktop Mac asking to approve my phone. I can press deny, approve, I can cancel the notification but they just keep coming. I found another thread about this but I tried what it suggested and it still didn't work. I'm wondering if it didn't work because I forgot my iPhone password, it still asks me for my original iPhone password and since I still can't remember it there's some stuff I can't get to. The notifications have gotten so bad that I've had to silence them completely.

Is there anything I can do to get them to stop or am I just going to have to deal with this until I inevitably switch to Samsung?

Thanks

iPhone 12

Hi Syringatheperson,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

From what you're describing, this is related to iCloud Keychain. If you've already tried turning off iCloud Keychain and turning it back on again under Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Passwords & Keychain on your iPhone, please reach out to Apple Support directly to get additional assistance. They will investigate this further with you.

Have a great day.
