Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.
To start, you will want to check if the email can be opened outside of the Mail app. To do that, log into the email account from a web browser. Once logged in, you will want to try to open that email. This will tell us if it’s the email or if something on the device is blocking it.
If it does not open from a web browser, you will want to delete the email and reach out to the sender and ask them to resend it.
