One of the USB C/Thunderbolt 3 port has stopped working in MacOS Ventura
My MacBook Pro's (15-inch Intel w touch bar 2019) top-left thunderbolt port has stopped working. I usually use that port to charge my phone or my headphone. But today, while charging my headphone, it stopped charging it suddenly. Then at the same time all of the T3 ports began malfunctioning. Here is the issue:
For three of the T3 ports except the top left one- if I plug in the charge cable, it shows plugged in but not charging.
But for the top left T3 port- nothing happens even after plugging in the charging cable, it does not even show plugged in symbol like rest.
I tried resetting the SMC, PRAM/NVRAM and also then booted into the recovery mode. Now, the three T3 ports started working again. I can charge, connect my SSD and everything is good for those three, but for the top left one, it does not work at all, it is completely dead. I do not know wtf is even going on. I have seen so many posts in this community regarding Ventura and USB C issues. Is it possible that my issue is related to Ventura? or do you think the port is dead?
