I put on "do not disturb", accept messages from "no one" and lower my sound volume, but I still get the tweets from an incoming email, etc. I DO NOT WANT MY IPHONE TO MAKE A SOUND! Where have I gone wrong?

In Settings/Focus/Do Not Disturb, tap Apps. You must check Allow Notifications From and then don’t list any apps. Similarly for People, tap on People, then Allow Notifications From and don’t list any people. Then in the dropdown for Allow Calls From choose Allowed People Only.
